After spending the afternoon with Kim & Ryan for their Lincoln Park engagement session, we knew their downtown Chicago wedding would be so much fun! Kim & Ryan, it was our pleasure to spend the day with your friends and family. Thank you for having us and we wish you the best!
Kim had her “something blue” covered with bold Badgley Mischka shoes.
Kim & Ryan got ready at the historic Palmer House Hilton.
Ryan looked sharp in his bow tie.
How cute is their Save the Date?
After the couple had their first look at the hotel, they hopped on a trolley with their bridal party to take pictures all around town. Luckily, the rain clouds parted for the afternoon leaving us free to enjoy iconic city locations like the Chicago Board of Trade, the Chicago Cultural Center, Buckingham Fountain, and Millennium Park.
The wedding ceremony and reception were held in the classically elegant ballroom at the School of the Art Institute. The 1920s architectural elements of the venue complemented all the elegant DIY details that Kim & Ryan worked long and hard on. The subway art bar menu, three tiered satin card box, Thank You, I DO and Mr. & Mrs. wooden signs, each and every sparkly votive candle holder and blinged out cake stand are just a few of the DIY touches that were a true labor of love, which clearly paid off!
